Pro/ENGINEER from Parametric Technology Corporation is a leader in satisfying the engineering world's CAD, CAM and CAE needs. For all of its power and flexibility however Pro/ENGINEER lacks one vital ingredient that makes using Pro/ENGINEER on a day-to-day basis tolerable - a capability to manage the massive number of files Pro/ENGINEER generates over the life of a project.

Filling a vital gap

Pro/ENGINEER provides a very basic file purging capability but it is crude and arbitrary in its operation. Pro/PURGE is designed to fill this gap (and nothing more). Pro/PURGE is an easy to use tool that both purges older file versions of Pro/ENGINEER data files as well as deleting the myriad of temporary files that Pro/ENGINEER creates.

Tailor to suit

The default installation of Pro/PURGE comes ready to manage the most common Pro/ENGINEER file types, export files and temporary files. Pro/PURGE can however be easily customized to manage whatever file types you work with.

In its unlicensed state Pro/PURGE reverts to a non-destructive but fully featured demonstration mode allowing you to safely evaluate it in your working environment - we encourage all Pro/ENGINEER users to download it and compare it against their current Pro/ENGINEER file management utility.
